Product Details

The cute "Brooms on a hat" beanie is an adorable accessory to wear in the fall season and beyond. The yarn used here is washable, so it's perfectly easy to take care of.

In all you create 4 brooms showing off slightly curved broom sticks. The hat is knitted in the round with just the brush part done in a simple stranded knitting method. The broom handle and the details on the brush part are later top stitched and make the design a bit more three dimensional.

There are two sizes to knit, a S/M and a L/XL size.

The instructions are fully written, include a chart for the stranded motif and photos guiding you through the top stitching part. You also get a chance to make your beanie longer if you prefer that.

The knit kits include

  • Two skeins of Allero, a washable 50/50 Acrylic/Cotton blend yarn in a light worsted weight. 154 yards/50 grams a skein in two contrasting colors. The S/M size comes with 1 skein each. The L/XL size comes with 2 skeins of C1 as a main color and 1 skein to create the broom part with.
  • A mini skein is included in a fingering weight holding 10 yards for the top stitching, for both sizes. Please note the mini skein is not shown in the color selections.
  • The printed pattern and emailed PDF file.
  • All packaged in a convenient project bag.
